Award winning retro styled, Kat Reeder was born in Lima, Peru but now works from her studio in Honolulu, Hawaii. Her bold and whimsical illustrations reflect the color, exoticism and adventure of her own life story. Reeder’s imagery is as influenced by art nouveau and classic pinups as it is by vintage toy packaging and travel posters. With a fresh approach that marries modern digital art with nostalgic romanticism, her work is instantly recognizable and hard to forget.
She has been profiled in the Los Angeles Times and her work has been featured in Vogue Magazine, Visual Magazine, and a host of other international publications. With an undergraduate degree in advertising and formal education in graphic design, her illustration work has developed as her true passion. She signs with leading Agency, Lemonade to expand her folio and client reach in equal measures.
